Shipping Costs
We want to be completely transparent with our customers: there is no free shipping for any reason or amount on our website.
Shipping represents a pure operational cost for us. We do not apply any markup and we only pass on the real shipping cost to the customer, constantly working to keep it as low as possible.
There is no fixed shipping rate, as every cart is different. The shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on several factors, including:
Quantity of products in the cart
Total weight and volume of the order
Type of products (ambient, fresh, or frozen)
Shipping destination
This ensures that each order receives a personalized and as accurate as possible shipping calculation.
When an order contains fresh or frozen products, special insulated packaging and temperature-controlled systems are required to guarantee that products maintain the correct temperature throughout transit. This involves a fixed cost related to temperature-controlled shipping.
For this reason, even adding a single fresh or frozen product automatically activates the refrigerated shipping service.
Once the refrigerated service is activated, however, adding more similar products only slightly increases the total shipping cost. In practice, ordering 1 mozzarella or 10, 15, or 20 mozzarellas results in only a small difference in the final shipping cost, as the main expense is related to the temperature-controlled service rather than the individual item.
Grouping multiple fresh and or frozen products in the same order allows you to optimize shipping costs.
Shipping fees are calculated through an automated system that considers multiple variables. However, as this is a complex system that is continuously being refined, in rare cases minor discrepancies — either higher or lower — may occur compared to the amount shown at checkout.
Before dispatching any order, we always verify the actual shipping cost.
Important Notice About Backup Shipping Rates
In rare cases, due to temporary technical synchronization issues, a backup shipping rate may appear at checkout.
This backup rate may display as €0.00 (or another placeholder amount). Please note that this is not a valid shipping rate, but only a temporary fallback generated by the system.
If a backup or zero shipping rate appears at checkout, it does not represent the correct shipping cost.
In such cases, we will always verify the correct shipping amount before dispatching the order and contact you if necessary.
Should we detect any difference compared to the amount originally shown at checkout, we will inform you before shipping.
You will always have the option to:
Confirm the shipment by accepting the corrected shipping cost
or
Cancel the order and receive an immediate full refund
We are continuously improving the system to ensure maximum accuracy. Since we work with multiple couriers and configurations, occasional minor inaccuracies may still occur.

Temperature-Controlled Shipping
PRODUCT QUALITY AND TEMPERATURE GUARANTEE
We guarantee that all our fresh and frozen products are delivered in perfect condition and at the right temperature.
We use dry ice, special insulated containers, and high-quality packaging to ensure the cold chain is never broken during transport.
This level of care results in higher shipping costs compared to other sellers, but it guarantees that your products arrive as fresh or frozen as when they left our warehouse.
Unlike others, with us there is no risk that frozen items arrive defrosted or that fresh products lose quality — what is shipped frozen arrives frozen, and what is shipped fresh arrives perfectly fresh.
Orders with transit time of 4 days or more are shipped the following Monday (or same Monday if received before 8:00 AM).
🇮🇹 Italy Delivery Schedule
- Orders received before 8:00 AM → shipped the same day.
- Courier Milan area: same-day delivery by 3:00 PM.
- North & Central Italy: 24–48 h.
- South & Islands: 48–96 h (depending on location).
- Delivery times may vary during holidays or peak periods.
🌍 Europe & International
- Orders received before 8:00 AM → shipped same day.
- After 8:00 AM → shipped next business day (+24 h to transit time).
- Express delivery with DHL or FedEx available upon request.
- Economy service (DPD) for lower-cost shipments within Europe.
